Soundstage / space

The soundstage is the mental visualization of the space a sound exists in. Or the environment we intuitively form around any perceived sound. The soundstage is implicitly shaped by the interplay of frequency, amplitude and panning. As well as HOW they emerge and develop over time. Too abstract?
