The thing about self-evidence

The ‘self’ in ‘self-evidence’ embodies the entity, in which it exists: the individual, or self.

In communication, nothing is as self-evident as the wish for communication to be self-evident.

As soon one interacts with another, we communicate in the wishful space of hoping to be understood. As long as society neglects this reality about communication, it will continue to shape itself through misunderstandings.

And fuel the irony, that we can’t even understand ourselves. How paradoxical.
